Game Summary - March 1, 2009

The B team continued their impressive play in a 2 - 1 loss to NCUSC Crown Royals - a very strong team that has clinched promotion to Div 2 and has scored 66 goals in 17 games. Bombastic gave them a really good run. The Royals scored first. Bombastic tied it just before half on a long run down the left side and great cross by Mary Ellen Glover that was thumped into the net by Tanya McLean. The Royals had many chances in the second half, but Linsday Rolfe played awesome in goal making a ton of saves. Great games from Mel and Tanya, and Jeni McKay had a really solid game at left back - good efforts all around. Fun game to play and watch. Player of the game: Lindsay Rolfe.
