Game Summaries - November 30, 2008

A 10 player Bombastic A squad lost 3 - 0 to NSGSC V.O. on Sunday night. An injury in warm-up, and one in the first 5 minutes forced us to play with 10 against a young team with plenty of subs. The score flatters the other team. The first half ended 0-0, but in the second half our lack of subs caught up with us. Even still, we managed many good chances throughout the game and came back strong after each of their goals - their 2nd and 3rd goals came against the run of play. All 10 players played well, played as a team, played hard to the end, and walked off the pitch deservedly happy with their effort. There were lot's of candidates for Player of Game, but the honour goes to Chloe Handley, who was crafty, calm and confident at left back helping initiate a lot of offence from the backline.
